Happy LABOR Day (the rest is yours..but not a result of your own work..)

Labor Day. Why not have a day to celebrate efforts toward labor not becoming difficult and laborious, by rest? Some gladly take the rest, others are cautious to really relax. Might tip the scale of the work-rest balance.

Makes me think of another balance I am sometimes fearful of tipping. Faith vs Works. Where does it all fit in this wonderful, simple, and yet profoundly complex life changer we call- The Gospel.

I am no theologian, I defer you to study in your own bible, and perhaps a biblically sound commentary or book to sort that out. In the meantime, I will share a story with you that might help you see that it is possible to not have to do anything and yet...have to do something!
