Love....

In the air, everywhere, day and night, dark and light

Love. There is no place it cannot reach. God's love that is. Ours...well, it's not as far reaching. Not as patient, not as selfless, not as able to bear all things as we would like it to be. How wonderful that God offers us His love, pouring it in and through us. May His love your satisfaction this Valentine's day.

What is to love about God’s love

His love is Always, always there

Every place and everywhere

His love Bears loads we never could

Is Compassionate for the misunderstood

His love Delights in drawing near

In our doubt and in our fear

It is Everything deep down we seek

Fresh hope for the worn-out and the weak

God’s love is Good and gentle too

A Help in times we come unglued

Immeasurable in width and breadth

In height and length and even depth

Joy it scatters along the way

Kindness also, day by day

The love of God is Lavish for

God will not love less and could not love more

God’s love is Mighty in its power

Gives us strength each needed hour

Never-ending in it’s giving

Offers us a life worth living

God’s love is Perfect in all it’s ways

It Quiets our hearts on difficult days

Refreshment for the weary soul

It Sanctifies an makes us whole

God’s love is Trustworthy at all times

It Understands the hardest climb

It Values our refinement more

Than comforts we have known before

Tides roll out and tides roll in

In the end, God’s love will Win

eXceeding even our wildest dreams

The love of God will rule supreme

How we Yearn to know yet more

Of the love that lasts forever more

Zealous make us, all our days

For the love of God and its wondrous ways!
