When I Am Overwhelmed

When I am overwhelmed, overwhelm me with Your love

Turn my eyes from circumstances to Your throne above

Help me through the brokenness to see the many ways

Your presence brings me comfort and can fill my heart with praise

For every difficulty, every heartache, each unplanned

I find a strength unshakeable, while cradled in Your hands

Bits of brokenness are found in every earthly story

But woven also into life, are glimpses of Your Glory!

"And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD."
