The holidays are definately here, which means many of us find ourselves in a daze. So much to do, to see, to plan, to wrap, to think about....if we are fortunate to have carved out a little time for the last one. Of all the glamour and glitter and hustle and bustle and making and baking and taking and getting (not to mention the getting rid of) you know I probably enjoy most? Sitting in front of the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa. Thinking. Talking. Listening. Maybe even playing a game. Mostly, giving thanks in this finest of moments for the reason for Christmas, Jesus Himself. Our hearts are prone to wander, and our culture is positined well to lead. But lets not forget about the reason for the season, especially in the moments of craze.
