How are your New Year resolutions going by now? Mine just now came to me. I guess you could say it was gently forced upon me as I came face to face with the fact that even though it's a new year, I am up against the same old battles of the flesh.
But something is new.
I have a new awareness of how to fight right, and how to truly live.
It is not so much mustering up strength and forging ahead.
It is more like, realizing how much I depend on strength greater than my own.
Do I ever depend on it.
Surrender to a will more perfect than mine (much as my flesh likes to argue) doesn't make me a captive...it frees me.
When it is the One True God you daily depend on...
