When Worries Fall

 

 

When nighttime falls and worries rise

Do not despair just set your eyes

 

On Jesus, who is hope and light

And hears prayers any time of night

 

When worries come, like worries do

Don’t let them get the best of you

 

Instead commit to set your mind

On Christ, and hope in Him we find

 

Do not play the “what if” game

Instead each promise of Christ claim

 

Think on what is true and just

And your treasures which will never rust

 

Think on things that honor bring

To your Savior, Lord and King

 

See if you can count the ways

He is worthy of our praise!
