Trials On the Way

​

Sometimes life is a walk at the beach 

And sometimes it’s trial by fire

I want you to know when it isn’t the beach 

There are so many ways you inspire 

You somehow find the positive 

And hold  tight your humor and smile 

Which isn’t always easy 

When you’re going through a trial 

 

I wish that I could take away 

the rough spots on the road

I wish that no one ever had 

to feel a heavy load

But life is a road with potholes

Which can slow us down a bit

And those in the fire, they inspire 

Me - to never quit!

 

And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand firm, 

and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today..."

Exodus 14:13
