Sometimes skies are sunny sometimes they are gray

Make the most of the moment at hand, either way

 

Here’s to moments of sunshine, to laugh and rejoice

Play a game, tell a joke, do the thing of your choice

 

Here’s to overcast moments, when hidden the sun

These moments you still can make count, yes each one

 

When life brings a bump on the road, or a trial

You have to try harder, but you can still smile

 

So here’s to enjoying today, some small part

A flower, a tree, or some music or art

 

An ant on the sidewalk, a bird up above

And mostly the people you know and you love

 

Today for a moment, find something to do

To bring out the smiles in others, and you
