Stilled by Love

In the midst of your anxieties

In the tossing of the troubled seas

 

In the whirlwind which does not slow down

There is a peace that can be found

 

In the excitement, fear, or dread

Of what may meet us up ahead

 

There is reason to rejoice and sing

The Lord is good, and He is King

 

So in your tossings and your doubt

Of how the Lord will work things out

 

Be still enough, more to know

Of the love that will not let you go

 

Give thanks to Him for everything

Let your soul, live to sing

 

Of the majesty of God above

And let Him quiet you with love

 

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save you;

                                                                he will rejoice over you with gladness;

                                                                                           he will  quiet you by his love;

                                                                                                     he will exult over you with loud singing.”
