Priorities

So many things that you could do

In this short life God has given you

 

Things to do, to try to be

How does one set priorities?

 

It is easy to get overwhelmed

When we alone are at the helm

 

But when we trust the God of grace

The lesser things fall into place

 

We are just a part of His greater story

Made for His, not our own glory

 

So we must, through thick and thin

Ask “What next step would honor Him?”

 

So many options, far and near

But only one chance to live for Him here

 

Let us foremost seek God’s face

And let the rest fall into place

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,

and all these things will be added to you.”  Matthew 6:33  (ESV)
