P.L.E.A.S.I.N.G.

 

 

PEACEFUL

 

Filled with peace not because I know

How the tide will turn, how the trial will go

Peaceful for Jesus is mine and because

All that I cannot control, God does

 

LOVED

 

Deep inside, waking each day

To a love that is real and has promised to stay

A love that commands, the waves of the sea

And wants the very best for me

 

EMPTIED

 

Letting go of my dreams and plans

Putting my hand in His hand

Being okay I have nothing to bring

Trusting Him for everything

 

ALIGNED

 

Seeking His will and the will to obey

Walking in faith as He leads the way

Wanting most of all to be

Positioned where He is wanting me

 

SURRENDERED

Steadfast faith through thick and thin

Mind and heart, stayed on Him

Surrendered to His will I climb

Knowing His ways are higher than mine

 

INTENTIONAL

Making the most of every minute

He has a purpose if He has me in it

Knowing what He is calling me to

In little things and big things too

 

NOURISHED

In tune to the hunger in my soul

Letting Jesus make me whole

Satisfied just thinking of

The sweetness of my Father’s love

 

GRATEFUL

Letting my wandering heart find rest

In the love of God who loves me best

In God who is perfect in all His ways

And worthy of my thanks and praise
