 One Hill Stands

When circumstances sweep away the life that we had planned

When even mountains crumble, there is still one Hill that stands

 

Still one cross upon that Hill, one hope that can’t be shaken

One Savior offering in Himself, a life that can’t be taken

 

Anxiety and sorrow, may knock upon our door

We will fight the battles knowing He has won the war

 

The love that held Him to the cross will see us safely through

His promises He’ll keep, His mercy every day is new

 

Today could bring us sunshine and an unexpected grace

Today could bring the hardest, of trials we will face

 

Eyes fixed upon the cross, we will trust Him in all things

As all our days we sing the praise of our Risen Lord and King!
