Light Of Christmas

 

 

May the Light of the world, shine on you tonight

Taking your heaviness, making it light

 

Making your burdens, seem not so tough

Paving a road, that is not quite so rough

 

May the Light of the world, shine down that you’d see

Hope both for tomorrow and eternity

 

Touching Your heart, making it glow

From the warmth of the knowledge that He loves you so

 

Light of the world, many years ago came

And those that it touched, were never the same

 

Light of the world, still brilliantly shines

Into the darkness of your heart and mine

 

May Christmas be merry, and Christmas be bright

With the warmth of His love, and the truth of His light

 

May His light touch your life, all you say, think and do

And the true light of Christmas shine brightly in you!
