If life is like a box of chocolates...reach for the hope filled kind!
(and have a little chocolate for your soul)
Light In Darkness

In the twinkle of the Christmas lights
Against a still, dark, Christmas night
There come those holiday emotions
Rolling like tides, on an ocean
I wish I could reach out and touch
The ones I love and miss so much
Or mend the long held dreams that break
Or a body or a heart that aches
Hope, joy, peace, and love
Come to help us rise above
In the stillness of the night
These are the things for which we fight
So much sadness so much pain
Yet so much good that still remains
When all around the world gives sway
These things never go away
How I wish the sadness gone
And yet I know with each new dawn
The seasons of earth will remain
And there will always be some pain
Instead may what is true and right
Pierce the darkness of the night
Give strength for mountains we must climb
Especially at Christmastime.
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20 (Words of the Christ of Christmas)
