Letting Go. Of Holding On.

 

Big things.

Dreams. Desires. Plans.

Health. Relationships. Safety.

 

Little things.

Right time. Right place.

A green light. A toilet that flushes properly.

 

It is hard to let go...of what you are holding onto. Especially when it has a hold of you.

But you cannot open your hands to receive what God has for you if your hands are full...of you.

 

Help Me Let Go.

 

Lord help me let go of what holds me back

Grant the surrendered heart that I lack

 

Give me grace to trust Your plans

And place my dreams in Your loving hands

 

Help me to know Your power and Your graces

In my most fearful and anxious places

 

Your love is real, Your promises true

Help me to hold..to nothing but YOU.
