Is There Anyone Willing To Bear The Pain

.

Is there anyone willing to bear the pain

That far too often goes unnamed

Is there anyone willing to sit a while

In the overlooked and hidden trials

Is there someone willing to walk the road

Next to a friend with a heavy load

Willing to bear a moment’s sorrow

Along with the hope of a brighter tomorrow-

When it seems the loneliness will not end

Remember that there is One friend

Who for our sake left Heaven’s throne

To walk a lonely road, alone

In all of our unanswered ‘Why’s”

His ears are open to our cries

In the loneliest of times we bear

His open arms are waiting there

When it is hard to just go on

His mercy comes as sure as dawn

His love is sure and steady ground

When other hope cannot be found

In the hardest moments here we face

We learn that we can trust His grace

In the emptiness that naught can fill

We learn to trust His perfect will

In His compassion may we bear

Another’s load, lift up a prayer

In the hardest moments here we face

Learn just how measureless His grace

May  tears that we in silence weep

Cause our faith to anchor deep

Until we stand before His throne

Never more to feel alone

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows,,   Isaiah 53:1
