In This Season of Thanksgiving

In this season of Thanksgiving

I give thanks for a little things

 

A sorrow given comfort

A dream given new wings

 

An answer to a daily prayer

A faith that steadies me

 

When things do not turn out the way

I’d hoped that they would be

 

I’m thankful for the Word of truth

In a world that’s upside down

 

And for true fellowship

 Within God's family I have found

 

For new life through a Savior 

Who walks with me all my days

​

Who  changes me and fills my heart 

With gratitude and praise
