In The Unplanned

.

 

When the circumstances of life take us by surprise

When we find we are overwhelmed by all the How’s and the Why’s

 

Help us Lord to take walk,  just one step at a time

Either You will move the mountains or the mountains help us to climb 

 

Be it that the mountains lying up ahead seem tall 

Or with some perspective, we understand them small

 

Remind us that You know all things, and You are on Your throne

Yet nearer than a prayer to us, we’ll never walk alone

 

When there is more that we do not, than we do understand

Remind us You are Sovereign over all of life’s “unplanned”

 

Remind us that sufficient for us is Your might and grace 

Your is alone the power, which hung the stars in place

 

In our moments of despair or doubt remind us You will be

“More than enough” for each day here and all eternity

 

Your every promise You will keep, wonderful Your ways

On mountains and through valleys we pray,  fill us with Your praise
