In Love

It is not hard to fall in love

When there’s so much to admire of

 

The One who from the very start

Captured your soul and your mind and your heart

 

It is not hard to stay in love

When many are the tales to tell of

 

The things this One has done for you

And how love has made your dreams come true

 

But love is more than a thing you are in

Love is an action, through thick and through thin

 

Love is a choice, sometimes sacrifice

It’s a willingness to pay the price

 

It’s a commitment, through and through

Binding you to Someone, and Someone to you

 

It withstands the fire, and lives to tell of

An even greater, deeper love

 

“In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”  I John 4:10
