In Dissapointments

​

Sometimes I do not understand

What God allows in His Master plan

 

I wonder of the things that be

When disappointment walks with me

 

I like the days the sun shines bright

And all around seems good and right

 

More so than the days of rain

And sadness I cannot explain

 

And yet I trust the Master knows

How sun and rain will help me grow

 

And He will use the “hard” somehow

And help me trust Him even now

 

For though on earth I may not see

The workings of His tapestry

 

I know that He still reigns above

And I can trust His perfect love

 

“For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever,

and his faithfulness to all generations.”  Psalm 100:5 (ESV)
