Hole In My Heart

There’s a hole in my heart and there always will be

As long as the seashore is next to the sea

As long as the mountains stand tall and stand high

As long as the sunset paints up the sky

There’s a hole in my heart I will notice it when

I think of the way, that things were back then

Back then when I could reach out and touch

You who I miss and I love oh so much

There’s a hole in my heart it's a jewel of rare token

Only a heart that knows love can be broken

And beyond the loss with it's heartache and pain

The joy of your love in my heart still remains

There’s a hole my heart that will be there until

God casts out all sorrow in His perfect will

Till I reach Heaven, till I see His face

And the holes disappear in His glory and grace

Love in My Heart

There is joy in my heart and there will be until

God takes me to Heaven in His time and will

A joy that I know, God’s love deep and true

A gladness He chose to share His love through you

There is hope in my heart, God’s goodness to see

You taught me to trust every promise for me

I know God is faithful each promise He keeps

You taught me that He never slumbers or sleeps

There is peace in my heart though I sometimes shed tears

Peace as I think of your love through the years

You opened your heart to God’s love every day

You cherished His love yet you gave it away

You left in some ways but in my heart and mind

I am grateful for everything you left behind

The great love of God, which I know and feel

Is richer to me because you made it real
