Here is to Hope

Hope for the days when you feel good and things are going right

Hope for the days you feel down, and for faith you fight

​

Hope for the days when you feel strong, in Christ to do all things

Hope when you wonder if you’ll find the strength for all life brings

 

Here is to God holding you when you near the end of your rope

Here is to you, searching for and always finding hope

 

Here is to being encouraged, even in a trial

Here is to holding each promise in God’s word that makes you smile

​

Here is hope for when life is light, and also when it’s tough

Here is to knowing that His grace will always be enough

 

Here is for days of sunshine, and also days of rain

And trusting in the love of God to always be the same

 

Here is to Him blessing you in unexpected ways

Here is thanks for the reasons He’ll give you, to give Him praise

 

Here is to the God of HOPE, each morning mercies new

And here is to the promise of His steadfast love for you!

 

 

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to and end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.  “The LORD is my portion,’” says my soul, therefore I will hope in him.”  Lamentations 3:22,23,24
