He Drew Me Out Of The Waters

I can take a little rain, a little storm, a little pain

I know the rain will help me grow though exactly how I do not know

I can trust for a little thing, a dream that never did take wing

What I would choose another way, yet somehow sense will be  okay

But when the rain relentless falls, and there is no reprieve at all

When I see no way to make it through, Lord help me find my help in You

For when the waters round me rise, only You can lift my eyes

To where my soul can start to see, the fullness of Your love for me

Somewhere still are pastures green, awaiting me in the unseen

A rainbow coming after rain, a healing balm to soothe the pain

I am weak but You are strong, fill my darkest night with song

Close beside You may I keep, as you draw me from the deep

He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters.    Psalm 18:16
