Grace For The Overwhelmed

​

 

When I am overwhelmed by the work around I see

And overwhelmed by all that God is doing inside me

 

I breathe in deep His comfort, while lifting up a prayer

When the road is rough and the way is tough, He has promised to be there

 

I know there is no limit to the things that God can do

He can raise the valley, or He can lead me through

 

In sunshine and in darkness, His glory is made known

And often in the broken His sufficiency is shown

 

So in the many overwhelming moments that I face

I will trade my fears for His overwhelming grace

 

His compassion fails not, His strength is surely meet

The good work that He has begun, He surely will complete

"being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."  Philippians 1:6
