God With Me

 

 

There is much about tomorrow that is hidden from my view

There is much I do not know, but this one thing I do

 

The One who holds tomorrow, has got a plan for me

And He’s promised He will hold my hand from here to eternity

 

I know He knows my cares, and He hears the prayers I pray

I know He still moves mountains and grants miracles each day

 

I know I can know peace, no matter what life sends

Because His love is perfect and because it never ends

 

So I put my hand in His, for all that is ahead

I say goodbye to fear and I welcome faith instead

 

I will follow Him each moment for He sees where I can’t see

I will think upon His promises and His great love for me

 

His goodness is eternal, His compassion never fails

His majesty is matchless, His mercy, it prevails

 

And so I face each moment with a hope that will not grow dim

Each step I take with courage, because I walk with Him.
