Give Thanks...

 

For the days of sunshine you have seen

When skies were blue and grass was green

And for the dreams that have taken wing

Give thanks to God who gives all things

 

For the times a stranger showed you care

For the friend you needed who was there

For a starlit night and for autumn days

Offer God the Creator praise

 

For the rainbows that come after rain
For the fact He never wastes a pain
For the tears you have shed that He has dried

Give thanks to God that He provides

 

For the times when life got really tough

And God proved to you that He was enough

For the way a trial, His love reveals
Give thanks to God who restores and heals

 

For each morning bringing a brand new start

For how He softens a hardened heart
For the valleys low and the mountains tall

Give thanks that God rules over all

 

For the willingness of Christ to die
For souls such as you and I
For a Heavenly home beyond our dreams

Give thanks to God, who redeems

 

For the Holy Spirit, sent to guide
For His storehouse which is deep and wide
For His mercy on your worst of days
Praise God for His love and his matchless ways

 

For the hardest thing right now you face

For moment by moment the gift of grace

That forever and always, He is the same

Give thanks to God and His praise proclaim!
