Free.

The fireworks light up the night

Displaying colors bold and bright

Reminding us that our country

Was founded that we might be free

Free to worship how we choose

Free to own things and to use

Our time, our talents as we do

Free our dreams to here pursue

But there is a freedom greater yet

And I hope we do not forget

That we and all men can be free

Because of Christ and Calvary

Free from sin and guilt and shame

Just by calling on His name

Free to live a life brand new

Free to let His love shine through

Freedom means a price was paid

Paid for those, once enslaved

Our hearts with thankfulness it lifts

It is not a right it is a gift

But even free men can be bound

And search for freedoms they had once found

Though you have been freed quite possibly

You can live as though you are not free

So in this day if you are free

In freedom be all you can be

Rejoice in the freedoms that you wear

Your freedom choose to live and share

Be thankful for the little things

And the big…that freedom brings

And in this day in everything

Rejoice and let  your FREEDOM ring!
