For All At Christmas

For all who light the Christmas lights, and sing the peace of  “Silent Night”

For all who find it hard to sleep, have reason at this time to weep

 

For all who celebrate with glee, close to friends and family

For all who find themselves alone, looking for a place called home

 

For all who want assurance of, a never ever failing love

For all who want to know a peace, which in the hard times will not cease

 

For all who in their hearts so long, to know for sure that they belong

For all those who are searching for, a joy that lasts forever more

 

Christ in flesh from Heaven came with power in His saving name

Hope of hopes, born that night, truth of truth, light of light

 

We commemorate the birth, of Christ who gives us each one worth

The One who in our joy and sorrow, is our hope of bright tomorrow

 

Burdens which we could not bear, Christ came with willingness to share

The debt we owed and could not pay, He came to die and take away

 

The Christmas gift that keeps on giving, is the gift of life worth living

Christ for us, our lives now His, that is the joy that Christmas is!
