Easter Reflections

Imagine a place where the sun always shines and there’s never a thought of a pain
Imagine a place where the sense of belonging is real and will always remain
Imagine a place where there is not a want and where pleasure is always around
Imagine a place where the joy and the peace that our heart deeply longs for is found
Imagine now Jesus, leaving this place for a world filled with heartache and sin
Imagine the sorrow and dread of tomorrow, He willingly chose to walk in

Imagine the weight of the sin of the world which He willingly choose to embrace
And the death that He died to lay it aside, granting us in His Kingdom a place

Imagine the darkness of night when they sealed his tomb and their hearts filled with sorrow
Imagine that day when He rose from the grave with bright hope for our every tomorrow
Imagine the awe of the people who walked with Him after He rose from the grave
Imagine thanks flowing from hearts fully knowing that even from death He can save

Imagine the peace yet today He extends in each trial and sorrow we know
As a High Priest aware of the every care of His followers walking below

Imagine the life everlasting we’ll share on that day when Christ makes all things new
For more than we could ever hope to imagine, He came and His reign makes come true!

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Chrst Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20
