Continual Thanks
 

I will give thanks for the morning when the brilliant sunshine breaks

I will give thanks for the road less traveled, with each turn it takes

 

I will give thanks on the mountain top, for the glorious view

I will give thanks in the valley for the way God leads me through

 

I will give thanks for the simple things I often take for granted

Like hope, and for a chance each day to bloom where I am planted

 

I will give thanks for the way that God pursues and shapes and molds

My heart when it is tempted to be distant and grow cold

 

I will give thanks for the opportunities in each day new

I will give thanks that in every change, His promises are true

 

I will give thanks for the happy times that He so often graces

I will give thanks for the grace that carries me in lonely places

 

I will give thanks when in wondrous ways I see how God provides

And in my waiting I will thank Him, He is by my side

 

 Everywhere, and all all times, His thanks I will proclaim

For He is God eternal, and most Worthy is His Name!
