Confidence In The Storm

 

When I wonder if I have the faith I need to face the day

And I wonder if I have the strength to trust You on this way

Remind me that Your grace is bigger than my biggest fear

And no matter where I am today, You are also here

 

When I do not see how You will make the crooked straight for me

Remind me Lord that You see so much more than what I see

The things that weighs my heart down, I may not understand

Still You can lift the burden as I reach up for Your hand

 

When I’m tempted to forget, that perfect are Your ways

May Your Spirit, living in me, fill me with Your praise

Grant me confidence Lord, to keep my trust in You

The way that in this day, and in this storm, You’d have me to.

 

“Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.  For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.”
