Christmas Short Story

 

 

Into the darkness vast and free, God spoke these words “Let it be”

As He spoke, so it was, and God loved His world, just because

 

Then came sin which caused a rift, it would take a costly gift

To bridge the gap so deep and broad between a broken world and God

 

Into the darkness of our plight, Jesus came with hope and light

What is broken, He makes whole; what is empty, He fills full 

 

Lord of Lord and King of Kings, to know Him changes everything

His love is real, His hope is true, is the Christmas story changing you 

 

“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, 

not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.” 

Titus 3:5
