For The Brokenness

For the brokenness around I see

And the brokenness inside of me 

For debts that are too big to pay 

And our longing for a better way 

 

Christ wrapped Himself in flesh and came 

There is power in His Risen Name

He cancels sin, and above our sorrow

Brings us hope for a bright tomorrow

 

May reflecting on His birth

Remind us our eternal worth

Is not wrapped up in things we do

But in promises He is making true

 

He is the balm for each hurting soul

The broken, He is making whole 

The greatest Christmas gift we get

Is life in Christ, with no regret!
