A Story to Trust

With some movies or stories, you never doubt

If things are going to all work out

 

With some authors, you know that you can depend

On a happily ever after end

 

You might be anxious as the plot unfolds

But you are pretty sure, the ending holds

 

Beyond each obstacle and trial

A resolution that makes you smile

 

Knowing that God is sovereign and good

Why do we not trust Him as we should?

 

We know the ending of His story

Brings His children home to glory 

 

How securely we can rest

In the love that loves us best

 

He will  see us through the in- between 

And the end is better than we can dream!
