Always Thanks

​

When all of life is going well

May the words I share with others tell

 

Of the gratefulness inside my heart

For every blessing You impart

 

When the way is hard and long the road

May I share of how the heavy load

 

Is teaching me of mercies new

And also drawing me closer to You

 

In times of plenty may I feast upon

The joy of waking to each new dawn

 

In times of lack may I always see

Your grace sufficient Lord, for me

 

Through every high and every low

May more of Your steadfast love I know

 

And in that love discover more 

Of all I can be grateful for

 

I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart;

I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.      Psalm 9:1
